AKSE  SISTERHOOD INVITES YOU TO SEND

PURIM GREETINGS AND SHALACH MANOT

Purim comes early in March this year. March 4th will be the first Megillah reading. We hope you will participate in the mitzvah of sending gifts of food and drink to friends and relatives by participating in the Sisterhood Purim Greetings Program.

Here’s how it works. Your name will be included on the card sending Purim Greetings to your recipients. The card will be accompanied by a generous assortment of traditional Purim treats! The recipients will be notified in advance that they are receiving a bag of treats and will get a list of who sent them the greeting and treats. They may pick up their greetings at AKSE on Wednesday, March 4, after the Megillah reading and for the next 3 days. All unpicked up bags may be donated to a deserving charity.

The donation is $6 for individual greetings sent to AKSE Members or Staff.

$15 for individual greetings to Non-Members (Please include their phone number and/or email address. We prefer that you arrange to pick up their special treats to deliver as they may not be coming to our Purim services.)

LARGE ORDER SPECIAL PRICING (available for AKSE member or Staff recipients only):

10 greetings for $50 ($5.00 each)

20 greetings for $90 ($4.50each)

30 greetings for $120 ($4.00 each)

40 greetings for $140 ($3.50 each)

50 greetings for $150 ($3.00 each)

****Introducing a lower donation amount to give to all members and staff. The new amount is $180 instead of $250. We are hoping that more people will participate in sending greetings to everyone. Please consider this level of contribution. Last year we had 20 donations of $250 for this special goal. This year we would like to exceed last year by having at least 30 participate for $180. It’s a wonderful way to share the joy of Purim with all of our AKSE families.

Please note that regardless of the number of greeters, each recipient family or individual will receive ONE assortment of Purim treats.

TO SEND PURIM GREETINGS:

New this year. We are using a new website www.HappyPurim.com. Each member has their own secure login code. You should receive either an email or regular mail letter with your code and instructions. If you have any questions call Sharon Berry at 302-598-0915. We hope using this website will be an easy and convenient experience and welcome your feedback. You can still send in your names and a check in the traditional way if you prefer. Send to AKSE Sisterhood, Attn: Sharon Berry, or email your list to teastreet@gmail.com and submit check to office prior to February 25th to allow enough time to prepare the Purim Greeting for each recipient.
